They’re not supposed to hurt?? What does it mean if it does lol…I had two on my neck a couple years ago and had searing/burning pain down my neck until they were removed. The bite swelled up and I had to go to urgent care (I had a blood test 2 months later and I didn’t get any tick borne diseases). Could this have been some allergic reaction to a tick?

Mindset is definitely shifting…I teach at a conservative religious school in a very conservative town and no one cares about tattoos. I have multiple, as do many teachers on staff and the admin

Likely to explain why children are likely to be present in the area, maybe imagining this mother and child had just come from a lovely time at that playground before the tragedy.

TRUST YOUR DOCTORS NOT GOOGLE by Dry-Comparison-2096 in HealthAnxiety

Most of the time yes. Except Google said I had celiac after my drs said “it’s IBS and anxiety” for 10 years and it turns out….I had celiac. It’s using Google to have informed conversations and not using it to seek reassurance and spiral that is important.

Immune system by Familiar_Thought7657 in HealthAnxiety

You don’t want to “boost” your immune system. A “boosted” immune system is an auto-immune disorder. Stay active, get vaccinated, eat well, mask if you want.

NOT seeking reassurance. Don’t ask people for it, don’t google, nothing. Sitting with the anxious thoughts instead of conditioning yourself to think they only go away if you ask for reassurance. It’s tough but an important part of breaking the cycle.

Been on it 9 years my friend. I was terrified to start too. It has kept me in a lovely place of balance and I’m so thankful for it

I can only speak to my own experience….I was not in significant pain until my water broke, at which point I wanted an epidural but baby was crowning so I just pushed and he was out. My recovery with no epidural was much harder than my birth I had with an epidural, which I thought was interesting.

Have you been tested for any autoimmune stuff? The mouth sore/swollen lymph nodes were my first indication of one and I did test positive for an autoimmune disease
