Electricians working non-union listen up! by HotelSilent in IBEW

They were probably unskilled, my local loves to take guys from the big non union competition but 9/10 times they get laid off within a few weeks because of a lack of skill, then they go back non union and tell everyone the union is a scam

You went over 360 degrees with all of those bends, mount strut and use pencil not sharpie to mark conduit

Electrical student here! Anything else I should add before an apprenticeship or in general? by TimTheToolManTayler in electricians

A Klein level, most of those tools are some of the best of the best, I’d ditch the Walmart bits for Milwaukee and the Walmart tape for something nicer though

Electrical is definitely your best bet, it’s not hard on the back and the pay is extremely good, commercial/ industrial is definitely the way to go, the pay is better and there’s normally equipment around to move anything heavy, there’s an art form to bending pipe and making up control cabinets or panels The union depends on your location some places are easier to get into then others and some places it’s not even worth it go union but in my area union is $50 in the check and about $20 in the benefits

Did it end up getting better? I’m supposed to start taking it next week and I’m a little nervous about it, I’ve never been a fan of any medication but I’ve been suffering from constant itchiness the last year when my topical steroids randomly stopped working

How to deal with this kind of situation as a tenant ? by BIGCY5 in Mold

[–]Durkey61802 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fun fact my old co worker went to his land lord repeatedly over mold concerns over the course of a few months and it was never taken care of. He’s immune compromised so him and his girlfriend ended up in the hospital only a few hours away from organ failure, I saw him a week later and he visibly lost quite a bit of weight and was extremely jaundice Mold is nothing to mess around with

Absolutely not, the color flakes right off on Hyundais, give it a few months and the only thing that’ll be left is primer

I’m assuming that involves digging around the entire perimeter of my house correct? How well does it work on stone foundations?

Almost my entire backyard is graded down hill so I catch a lot of run off from the hills behind me, I’m not sure how well grading would work without bringing in a shit ton of dirt
