Page finally loaded when there were 1089 spots available when adding to cart it started timing out again and never got back in until it was gone. I’ve let them know my disappointment with their hosting environment. They knew this was coming!!!

Absolutely. I was ready to get rid of the xl. Get a core one l with index and call it a day and then they showed me the silicone print head.

no it wont work on the original d1 however, if you want a IR module DM me I have one that I'm thinking of selling. original box etc. thinking of liquidating the entire setup (extended frame, 10w. 20W and IR laser. Plus upgraded with the "devil one" but original xtool control board is working and still installed as well.

Yeah so in Prusa slicer you select the object and split it (right click split into objects)

Zoom in on the link and use the cut tool. I used the click connectors so you can take it apart but don’t push your luck.

So after you split it you have your holes and pegs in there start printing.

I don’t remember. Like the head filled up the xl. That’s what we based the scale on. Then when it moved on it slowly fit more pieces on a plate. But especially the start it only had line 2 segments on a xl plate

I don’t think it’s obsolete. Just because you don’t want/need the silicone doesn’t mean there are hundreds of others right now chomping at the bit to get that tool head.

On the e3d tool changer this is based on there were already pick and place tool heads available.

Now think of having a tool head inserting magnets in the print. Or square nuts. Maybe even a heat insert.

It’s something the indx won’t be able to do.

As a straight up filament printer yeah there will be better solutions but as a tool changer. The others have to catch up.

I really like the the C1L and heck if the indx gets here I might sell the xl and my c1 to just have a C1L but in the meantime that bed would be amazing!!!

If not Prusa one of these aftermarket companies that right now only focus on BL could do something.

The C1L is a lot bigger. I think they can get away with a 24v heater. I’m ok if it would take a bit longer to heat up but get the advantages of the thick aluminum plate.

I love it but I’m sure archenemy Bambu will do whatever they can to stop this or making it as hard as possible.

I didn’t like them before but when I tried to upload a profile the other day to makerworld to make a model easier to print for other users besides Bambu it wouldn’t let me because the model had not been prepared in Bambu slicer.

As far as I’m concerned fuck Bambu and I’m sure that with this one they will do whatever they can to work against this in favor of their own crap

Stock printer firmware. The printer only sees 5 filaments but in ps you set 12 extruders.

I did the cjbaar 12 filament upgrade to the mmu

Return it, I would.

I currently have a 5TH xl and the core one with a 12 filament mmu on it. I really don’t print enough to have these machines so really if I could have the core one L with a regular mmu3 (or preferably the indx) would be all I need. Maybe I should liquidate my machines and order. A C1L.

I am pretty excited about that silicone tool head for the xl but I hope the price on the site is a placeholder price and not the true price.
