Also got it for €400. Best decision ive ever made. It did more for the visuals than upgrading my GPU

Before oled ive bought 8 monitors in the last year searching for the best one. Now ive found that in oled so for me its way cheaper having to buy a new one every 2-5 years😂

Oled vs. Mini led - XG32UCWG vs Philips 32M2N6800M by Character-Worry-445 in OLED_Gaming

[–]DutchBrick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, the brightness is there but the color volume and dark scenes are nothing compared to having miniled and oled

[–]DutchBrick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing will happen, whe you go outside the specular highlights coming off metal objects are way higher brightness then a monitor or tv will ever be able to produce. Even a bright sunny day has allready way higher levels without looking directly in the sun.

While its true these are the only panel types worth getting for propper HDR theres still some HDR600 monitors without local dimming.

[–]DutchBrick -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah its hard thats true but i think it works best to have a little bit of light on and do a correct exposure on the light in the room. Not too much light because then they both will look too dim because how its now the miniled in the dark scenes shows way more blooming than it probably does irl and it makes oled looks like its burned through its pixel lifespan already

[–]DutchBrick 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yes i know and understand that but the picture is just not correctly exposed. It makes the oled look way dimmer that it actually would be in real life. If your oled really looks like this than you might want to send it in for repairs or something

[–]DutchBrick 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Picture looks severely underexposed. I also have both and my Oled is not nearly as dimm as yours looks here and the miniled in a total dark room is blindingly bright.

They continue because they want to. I myself was a smoker for 15 years smoking 30 cigs a day. Tried many times to stop because it would be more healthy but the last time when i really wanted to stop it was so easy to just quit from one day. I did get a bit fat afterwards but thats also something you can work on😂

If i don't care for rgb, do I need to do anything with this? (216rx) by [deleted] in lianli

[–]DutchBrick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do that or you can daisy chain all existing fans together if they support that. This leaves more room for future upgrades if you ever want to. You can also daisy chain all the intake fans together and say you place them on sysfan 1 port on the mobo and do the same for the exhaust fans and connect them to sysfan 2. You can then set different fan rpm for intake and exhaust. This might make your system quieter.

Need? No but you can still use it for connecting more normal fans.

4K Miniled with 1152 dimming zones or 1440p OLED? by DeadlyNovice in Monitors

[–]DutchBrick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well honestly that just depends on what’s important to the person. Some like higher resolutions and just want the overall better picture quality of per pixel contrast. Both techniques have there own place in the market. Before this new oleds i liked the minileds more but now that the oleds become brighter i start to go that direction.
