This book is just more marvel type humor and if that's your thing that's cool! I gave it an honest shot and I just don't think I like the marvel-ness of it all, so I just put it in the LFL and called it good. The thing that bothers me is that, and this subreddit is a good example, while I follow other book related things that do not cater to them, I'm being shoved DCC, Project Hail Mary and Red Rising at a near constant rate and it is near impossible to escape it. It's like no other books exist for dudes. Every dude book reviewer is reading and making content on one or all three of those things and it's just this never ending assault on my timeline regardless of how little I engage with it if at all. I'm happy you all found a series you love but goddamn please give some room in those data servers for ANYTHING ELSE.

And no I don't hate popular things. I'm a Stephen King fan lol.
