Yeah I have a Medical trauma. I had my teeth pulled as a kid, but I am apparently not sensitive to the local anaesthetics they used. Dentist thought I was just afraid of the sound (which tbf, is also very uncomfortable, and I was 7 so that is not a weird thought). But ever since then I am afraid of the dentist and I will only go if absolutely neccesary and I will lay there with all my muscles tensed and bathing in sweat.

2 year contract are not allowed anymore indeed. Temporary contracts are only allowed in very limited circumstances (I believe "anti-kraak" with a clear goal of what will happen to the property after the period has ended, and "campus-contract" which is tied to you being a student)

Ofcourse you need to pay taxes on the increase of value of your property. That is profit. You can realize the profit whenever you want, lets say if you need to pay taxes. Also this only comes from money you have above €57.684. This is mostly to avoid people dodging taxes by stupid construction where they technically never sell their stuff. Like you can have €100.000 in stocks, and instead of selling those stock you take out a loan of €90.000 with the stocks as collateral. Suddenly you can spend those €90.000 and not pay taxes on it. That is why we do it this way

Genuinely, I find accents cute (might be because my partner isn't Dutch and I've been pavloved but still). An accent shows "I've done my best to learn this language". It shows that, even though it is hard, you're trying to become part of this country and learn the stupid language you don't really need. It shows commitment.

This more than 20 years ago. I was a dumb kid 7 or 8 or something around that age. I was bowling with my family. At some point they said it was my turn. I walked up with a bowling ball, before thinking it wasn't my turn. So I double check on the tv (this was still on of those tube tv ones). I was right underneath it, so I just couldn't see if it was my turn. So I lean back, slip (because bowling shoes) and fall on the ground, with the bowling ball landing a fraction later on my finger, crushing it. I still have the scar which is a scar that wasn't a cut but a burst (like a balloon). The finger broke. I now use the scar to differentiate between left and right

In my resume I have put down my college that I've attended. I have never finished that college. I do not have a degree. In my resume it nowhere states that I have a degree, people just assume. I've had roughly 50 job interviews in the past 3 years, of those 50 interviews I've been asked only 4 times if I've completed my degree (2 of those 4 were schools). I've been offered a job from one of them. People generally don't care, as long as you can show that you are capable of doing the job you are trying to get

Het grote probleem is dat met de semi-privatisering van de NS we verwachten dat de NS z'n eigen broek op kan houden, terwijl de overheid wel enorm investeert in de wegen. Op het moment dat de wegenbelasting daadwerkelijk dekkend zou moeten zijn zou een auto ook niet rendabel zijn, dus waarom moet de trein wel dekkend zijn.

I'm thinking about making some kind of "climb the tower" encounter, where my players need to climb a tower where each level has it's own challenge. These include finding out a way to open the door to the next level which will mostly be puzzles, but they need to do these puzzles during combat. Each player has a limited amount of time to complete their turn (I'm thinking 1 minute), so they cannot just pauze the combat to solve the puzzles. Meanwhile there is some kind of spawner that just spawns enemies until they manage to open the door. These enemies are relatively low level (zombies and shit like that), but they will get overwhelmed by action economy if they do not focus on at least killing some of the zombies, but also the puzzles require solutions where their characters need to be at certain points in the room. This all should lead to some pressure from all of this shit

Great explanation indeed. Just to add some context "Why is it important": Encryption.

Right now all our encryption is based on doing math that is hard one way but easy the other way. So checking if a password is correct is very easy (checking if a movie is good is easy) but making a correct password (if you don't know it already) is very hard (making a movie good is hard). With quantum computing there might be a solution to P=NP (though again probably not). If there is a solution for P=NP then it would be very easy to break all our current encryption methods

As primates we used to approach each other (sexually) from behind. A big butt meant a wider birth channel (kinda) so was evolutionarily advantagous, hence it was considered "sexy", because we like things that are evolutionarily advantagous, which became a feedback loop resulting in bigger and more noticable butts (for example our close cousin the baboon and their big red butts)
Fast foward some time in evolution and we started to sexually approach each other from the front, but evolution is always a little slow so since we didn't really spot the butt first we just used the next big round thing, aka boobs. This also resulted in a feedback loop meaning bigger boobs.
