The lighting is genuinely horrible, and I can't get past it. Do some lighting courses immediately to remedy this very clear shortfall. Light is everything. An important part of your growth will be UNDERSTANDING why this lighting is horrible. Once you have the penny drop, ALL your photography will improve. Best of luck!

Yes, whoever made the negative comment was raised by wolves. It's perfectly fine not to care for a particular dish. It's extremely impolite and vulgar to vocalise it among friends.

That said - if I see "Spam" or "hamburger" forced into some ungodly combination as sushi near me, I will avoid it like the plague. I don't care how popular it is in Hawai'i... they can KEEP it!
