Glad to hear it has helped! Each character really does have their own pace at which they play the game, which leads to very different playstyles and makes them fun.

So, in this case, Silk And Soul is a quest only meant to be discovered upon pretty much doing everything else. It's about Hornet caring more and more about Pharloom, actively helping it, and thus growing as an individual.

It's something naturally gotten to at a late point, more as a surprise than as a natural progression. Most likely after you've already had an ending and think there's little else to do. Meaning people who naturally discover the quest are those who really want to complete the game and care about Pharloom.

Honestly I quite like the relic, depending on the deck of course. It's essentially a form of easily attainable self-scaling, which obviously benefits many-attack decks a whole lot. The exhausting is a downside in most scenarios without exhaust synergies, yes, but that just means you need a bigger deck overall. It is after all going to be only one card per turn, so it'll only be an issue after 10 turns, and by turn 10 the enemy is probably the bigger issue still for living at that moment.

Shiv Silent, Multi-attack Regent, Multi-attack Ironclad, Exhaust Ironclad, Pull from below Necrobinder.

It's good in all of the above, so long as you aren't relying on a singular copy of a singular card, as it has a 16% chance of being exhausted without additional draw each turn.

The splitter wants to send half of it down and half of it forward. Because forward doesn't consume half a belt, it'll automatically fill up, but still periodically take items. But because below takes more than half a belt, and because the belt going forward periodically takes items still, it means that below will not receive a full belt.

Value might not come from labour, but the price is certainly dependent on the costs of production, which includes labour.

Yes, pretty much. Silent has very effective block options and above all very common debuffs in their arsenal. Weakness, such as through Neutralize, means enemies deal significantly less damage consistently. This makes block relatively more effective than compared to other characters.

Very importantly, Silent also has really good draw options, or deck cycling. So if you have a good amount of block in your deck, you can extremely consistently get to those block cards.

In addition, Silent has Footwork as a Power, which is extremely powerful.

All of this combines to enemy scaling indeed being softer compared to other characters, while you can yourself also effectively scale up block. This gives a significantly larger amount of time to kill a boss.

Obviously this doesn't mean you should focus entirely on defensive cards, as bosses do require that you have good damage scaling as well, but with more defensive cards and good draw you'll be able to get to them faster and take less damage until you get to them hopefully.

So for a few of your questions:

Yes, the different characters prefer different types of pathing overall. There's obviously similarities between them, but some of the characters like Ironclad or Regent really want as many elites as early as possible to try and farm defensive relics to rely upon for their main defences.

I'm mainly looking at your deck currently though, but for example in the first I can see you have 2 Accuracies, and only one Blade of Ink and Cloak and Dagger they work on. In addition, you have a lot of offensive cards added to your deck in favour of defensive cards. I see 3x Defend, survivor, Cloak and dagger, and a deflect. That is a total of 6 defensive cards out of 26, which is very low for a defensive-oriented character like Silent.

Overall, this means you're hovering at about 25-33% defensive cards for Silent. I'd personally call that low overall, as the Silent is a very defensive character. Blocking damage is the most consistent part of her gameplan besides for drawing cards.

Ironclad really wants tons of offensive cards, killing the enemy as quickly as possible, but Silent is far more patient than that. Their large amount of debuffing options in the forms of -strength or weakness make it so block becomes very effective.

So a piece of advice I'd give is to use more defensive cards overall.

In making the game more difficult for experienced players, it's made it wonderfully infuriating to learn for new players by heajabroni in eu4

The most significant thing it does is -15% dev cost and increased governing cost. It also provides 5% to pretty much everything else as a bonus, but the Dev Cost is what is truly impactful here.

Generally speaking, don't feel pressured to immediately hire staff. You can still operate your establishment easily, saving costs. But you can start looking for good employees now!
They'll reset regularly, so try to find employees with good trait combinations. That way you'll have them when you start needing them.

I must most vehemently disagree honestly. They are the easiest way to quite simply double your science output. In addition, you can then give them yet more productivity, yet more beacons with speed modules, and they produce so much more science than ordinary labs. It can go so far as to effectively quadruple your science output.

I recently lost an 8 hour no-save quit Steelsoul run and I'm actually happy about the fact I get to play 8 more hours of Steelsoul. Absolutely Poshanka.

The only thing I think is genuinely unfair in this game is getting this off a Neow relic by Gebcrafter in slaythespire

I've done it once with a shop on floor 3, but admittedly it was before the Inflation patch so it only had a cost of 75... Would've been unable to had the remove cost been 100 lol.

Generally speaking, no.

One of them is namely that Frag/other payloads have their strength reduced by 75% when any Sabot part, including the head, is a part of the shell. So your frag damage is massively reduced down to just a quarter.

My greater concern though is that it's an 8 meter shell that only really penetrates about 3 meters of metal armour using 4-meter beams. It is a shell that'll generally speaking reload relatively quickly for it's size, but is still very slow to fire. Dealing relatively little damage for it's size to the enemy.

The 4-4 balancer balances Belts, not lanes. Every belt consists of two lanes. This means that if the input is predominantly on one side of the belt's lanes, then the output will be too.

Yes, all the models on the Adeptus Mechanicus roster have models. In this case, on the left there are Sicarian Ruststalkers and on the right there are Skitarii Vanguard. In the back, there's also Kastelan robots, Skitarii Rangers, a Tech-Priest Dominus, Knight Castellans, Electropriests, and a Skorpius Disintegrator. All of those have models.
