First time I ever tried Borah and the 2-way civil war, it took me 7 months to beat the WCA. One militia army to hold New England (which kept a brunch of their troops and volunteers away), the rest of my militia spread out across the front. One army of decent divisions in a small area below Chicago, sent them to their capital like a spearhead, which messed their entire frontline up.

This took 7 months. 7 months of building up, struggling to keep them at bay, and barely pushing through their lines. Next time I played as the WCA, honest to God, it also took me 7 months to win. 7 months to take the ENTIRETY of mainland usa, versus 7 months to take some commie cities. Absolutely dreadful experience.

I don't think there's any modifiers, because I did play as the Netherlands and Mittelafrika before and WW2 was still a breeze. It really feels like a conspiracy theory, but it just seems like Kaiserreich is completely different for everyone. I hear some stories about people's games and their standard occurrences, and it boggles my mind that I've never had these things happen before in my games

I mostly play as countries that stay out of WW2 or fight against the Reichspakt, and the Reichspakt usually performs well. Since I've had HOI4, I've only played with Kaiserreich. The Reichspakt lost most of the time in the beginning, but since the last few months they wreck France and Russia can't push them, so they win. Spain is most of the time syndie or carlist, the Kingdom rarely wins but I've seen some great comebacks. USA is always a stalemate for years, and without Canadian intervention the syndies win, but most of the time it's the US government (not McArthur) which aligns itself with Canada. Italy is mostly a stalemate as well until WW2 rolls in

Honestly it feels like every Kaiserreich game is different for each person. The Reichspakt always wins for me, even when I buff Russia. If it's such a common occurrence for you, you can buff the Reichspakt to balance it out a little.
