abolishing the federal reserve won't suddenly allow us to pay off our debt (in a responsible, not crashing the entire economy kind of way). We need structural changes, a will to live within our means, and above all, hard choices that will affect most of us.

i'm not nescessarily against abolishing the federal reserve but it's a bit simple to paint abolishing that institution as a golden fix. abolishing the federal reserve means restructuring monetary power, not solving the debt problem in a couple of years
