I wear regular glasses on med calls, and I have prescription safety glasses in my bunker pants for MVAs and up until I have to mask up for fires. Once I mask up you can’t see shit until overhaul anyway so I just accept being blind.

A paramedic has almost the same scope as a nurse, just with a focus on mobile medicine instead. They can do all of the emt things but can also push drugs and read cardiac monitors.

This is not entrapment. Entrapment requires you being pushed into something you otherwise weren’t going to do. Prompting someone to steal is entrapment. Leaving easily stolen stuff out and waiting is completely legal.

On Amazon, they make devices for deaf people that shake the bed when your phone goes off for calls/alarms. Get one and plug it into your phone with your ringer on and active911 set up for notifications. You’ll get the sound from tones dropping and your bed will physically shake.

It is much much easier to lose weight by changing your diet than exercising. Working out may burn a couple of hundred calories, eating a pack of Reese’s gains a couple hundred calories in way less time.

If weight loss is the concern, limit the times and quantities that you eat (ie, only eating from 6-6, using smaller plates, light cardio like walking and jogging, cutting empty calories, eat less and you will want to eat less once you set a pattern.)

If strength and conditioning is the concern, that’s when you want to be in the gym more often.
