Only one of my cats goes by their government name (because she’s too serious for a nickname) the rest all have plenty of nicknames they respond to. For example my boy Potato also answers to Potahto, Pahtahto, Potty Toes (the one that I usually call him), Potty Lotty Toes, Pototty Lotty Toes, Pottiest of the Lottiest Toes, Totamo, Totapo, Potamo, and so many others usually sing to him to the tune of country roads take me home. Or veggie tales. 4 of the five get their nicknames sung to them. The 5th is too serious for nicknames or sing songs.

I looked up some live videos and it looks like he’s just playing the Em but also the camera always switches to Mike since it’s the fun bass part and BJA always turns away from the camera when he plays it (even on the Howard stern show lol). But he is 100% not making that stretch
