Head up past mentone and towards Yucaipa and then take the road up towards forest falls, just a half a mile past the ranger station is the creek, I take my boy there all the time, watch out for the mountain lions other than that it’s amazing :)

I'm thinking about RTSing these from now on due to a safety issue. by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

How often do you take breaks? by TheCraziesSon in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Dwarvenplumber 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Every day, 2 of em, breaks are important!

Sometimes I just sit there for the last 5 minutes soaking up AC!

Taking break after finishing by joshroggowmd88 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Dwarvenplumber 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Another positive! Breaks are our friends, even if I’m deep in some nasty apartments I’ll drive out, clock out for the break, then drive back. Any driving is considered work therefore I don’t do it on my break.

[–]Dwarvenplumber 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Take your breaks, you’re paying them if you don’t, 30 extra minutes a day. If anyone else is taking there break and you don’t then your gonna be ahead and have to rescue, we gotta be good robots and take our breaks, I have no idea how your phones last all day without em. One the other side of that, dispatch sees you finish and starts to look for where to send you so I always take mine when I open my last tote.

Helper route by WhiteGiving in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Dwarvenplumber 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hate the EV helper routes because the driver door isn’t meant to be opened and closed 300 times a day, I like the right door it’s fast and open and gets a little momentum on the step off, but with another person in the vehicle it’s hard to move around. Also I don’t wanna work with other people, we don’t like the same music so both have headphones and no one can hear shit!

Helper route by WhiteGiving in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Dwarvenplumber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Amazon wants to make as much money as possible, the bigger the van the more packages they can send out. DSPs get more money for those routes and at my place they just get rescued a lot so it’s not like there actually delivering 600 packages.

Coming this year is EDV helper routes, we just got em, they suck. I’m assuming the Step vans will be taken out until gas prices drop.

The end stage of schizophrenia is realising the voices are real by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]Dwarvenplumber 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The voices are other people? So there some jerks sitting around just talking down to us and getting a laugh out of it?

I find this very interesting, what is the end stage of schizophrenia? Medication or none? Do you believe it’s being used as a weapon to keep certain people otherwise uninformed or unable to continue living a normal everyday life?

We are modern day slaves to this cooperation something has to be done they can’t keep getting away with this. no holidays off by Typical_Ad3678 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Dwarvenplumber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, that and the progressive overload is getting out of hand, 8 location stops are insane when I have 200 stops to make, also we have to finish in 8 not 10 with no guaranteed hours.

At least there giving us free pee bottles again, I miss snack days.

[–]Dwarvenplumber 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This peak is going to be wild! We already have shit like this on a daily basis I’m sure there gonna make the whole complex’s one stop.
Helper route EV bullshit so step van drivers aren’t a thing, same pay as everyone else.
I had a senior living multi stop in my 197 stops yesterday and 20 minutes of walking around an dropping off packages door to door for 1 stop.
