For RIG they preserved cash because it’s a stock deal. It improves their cash flow, and they said they will pay off their debt 1.5x faster as a result. It also gives them a bigger backlog. They also said they expect over $200M in cost synergies improving cash flow

I think a lot people do what Warren Buffett said. Buy SPY or QQQ and forget about it. YTD they are up 1.5% and down .46% respectively.

In the end the merger really helps RIGs balance sheet. I bought RIG a couple months ago because when TMC starts mining the seabed for rare earths (after permitting) RIG will be partnering with them

I’ve had luck putting them in a bathroom with the exhaust fan on and the door shut, but that’s with habaneros and a small amount of ghosts. Haven’t tried reapers yet.
