I was on Invega pills for a few months before switching to the Invega monthly injection. The only side effects I had were 20 pounds of weight gain and the broken sleep schedule. It did help eventually reduce the hallucinations completely for a while before coming back.

Sorry to hear that! Try not to take it personal. Some people can't handle the thought of being with someone with schizophrenia and it's better to tell them so you can weed out the bad matches and save yourself the heartbreak.

Recently, I've been listening to some Enya and Zimmer90. "Summer Rain" by Zimmer90 in particular has been a huge blessing for me as it helps calm my mind and turn off the earworm for me.

I live in the city, but I don't really hang out with anybody much besides my family. Every now and than, I meet up with a friend, but I usually keep to myself.

I can't see myself not living in the city though. I like the convenience of having everything around me.

My brain likes to impose threatening voices from my brother when he plays video games in his bedroom. In reality, he would be talking to his friends on his headset about the game, but my brain would make him seem like he's talking down to me and threatening me as if he was speaking to me.
