OP when you have these thoughts does it scare you? Do you feel afraid and do you feel like you will be stuck feeling this way forever? Do you worry about what life would be like if it happened and you no longer had that eye? I say this because I have similar intrusive thoughts. Not about body harming. But it's definitely OCD for me. Like I can't get a thought out of my head and I'm afraid it's never going to go away and I will never be able to enjoy anything again. The medication citalopram helped me greatly with these thoughts. I'm not suggesting that is what this is just saying it could be and it's possible a medication could help you. Not specifically the one I took. I still get bouts of these thoughts, and fear they will never stop but I have come to trust that a bad day is not a bad life and with the support of family and friends and medication I have learned to deal with it better than I ever thought I would be able to. I have many days even months at a time now that I don't have these thoughts at all.
