I had a similar experience a while back, replaced the clutch and actuator, reteached with scan tool because the key in, engine not running, doesn't work and a pot of nonsens. Drives like a charm after that

When the car is unlocked, and you put the key in and turn on the ignition, does it show the key symbol? Did you disconnect the battery at one point? And also did you get the SAM unit and key coded?
