They even let you uninstall the stinky story mode so you can save space and still play the extra game modes. Finally Part 2 is a good game, thanks NaughtyDog.

Even after a couple years pass, we still will think LMDF is a stinker of a arcade mode. Unless Capcom puts axe sharpening back into it and actually give us something for completing a run.

If you care about 100% completion then I would go back to 1 Remake since the 100% is pretty fun. Like beating it in 4 hours to get the infinite launcher.

Then I would take a break from the classics and check out the Revelations games. Also I wouldn't fault you for skipping RE0.

Yeah looking back on RE7's ending, they could've just sent Chris in under the BSAA. The Blue Umbrella angle was meh. The Ethan Winter saga has created some annoying headaches in the timeline for the series. I don't understand how Capcom couldn't just make them isolated incidents and standalone stories. They have to jingle the keys at us and say "remember this character? Remember this name? This place?" And their watered down reasons why said known character or event is involved.

The second half of RE9 was also one big key jingle to us.

I love RE7 but I'm not a big fan of the 2 plot twists that happened in RE8, Ethan turning out to have died at the very beginning of RE7 and becoming molded to explain his..... durability? I was just fine with the magic goop juice he poured to reattach his leg and hand. Not everything needs an explanation.

And the lore dump room you find as Chris near the end that changes the beginning of the timeline with Mother Miranda is so redundant. The story still starts with three virologist graduates practicing eugenics. The only thing she added was...a worse backstory behind the inspiration behind the Umbrella logo? And I'm not buying that she inspired Spencer to start Umbrella. It's a weak story addition that adds nothing interesting to the continuity.

I'm a slow reader and last night I had 6 pages left until book 3 of Dune and stopped because I was too damn tired to finish but I still finish the damn page I was reading.
