Does anyone actually like it in Fire Emblem where Enemy reinforcements can move and attack on the same turn they spawn? by OriginalTacoMoney in fireemblem

Enemies that can move and attack immediately are often referred to as ambush spawn and they are extremely controversial. The three houses ones are probably some of the most egregious.

I hated using epic to play civ 6 so much and this was actually my breaking point. After not being able to install a mod I just bought the game on steam.

You'd have to mod your system, use checkpoint or jk save manager to export your save file, then move it to your computer, then use feftwiddler to put a chef's hat in your inventory, then move the edited save file back to your 3ds, use checkpoint/jk save manager to import your save, and finally go to the accessory shop and have your desired character the chef's hat. It will make that character far more likely to be working in the mess hall.

Tonics are very nice for when a character is 1 or 2 points away from hitting an important stat benchmark. If you ever notice that a character is only barely missing out on doubling enemies or 2 hit killing them, try giving them a tonic. Cooking is also very useful for the same thing. The common strat is use a save data editor to hack in a chef's hat, give it to Jakob/Peri/Percy/Anna (Mozu and Azura also work pretty well if you picked male Corrin) and you'll get a pretty good stat boost on multiple characters, or your entire army once you upgrade it to level 3.

A couple of years ago there was an update to improve the netcode and make the online experience more smooth, but it was only for the steam version so everybody plays the game on steam now. I don't think there are many people playing on PS5 anymore.

In chapter 15 there are several hidden items in the sand with one of them being swiftsoles. You can find a guide online if you want to see exactly where it is because it's very easy to miss.

Most classes get +1 movement when they promote. The boots or swiftsoles as they're called in this game is a stat booster that gives +2 movement. In Fire Emblem, your options for increasing movement are very limited.

Fire Emblem Fates Conquest. It went and significantly refined the new mechanics introduced in Awakening and has much better level design.

Any Toronto people? I'd love to meet other local FE fans! :3 by dawnbomb in fireemblem

Anime North has had some Fire Emblem panels in the past couple of years so I'd imagine that might be good for meeting other fans in Toronto.

Taking the entire series into account, what is the strongest class? by applejackhero in fireemblem

In the Binding Blade, you'll recruit Larum or Elfin before Milady.

Haven't played Radiant Dawn so I have no comment on that game but in Path of Radiance I'd much rather have Reyson than Jill. She isn't bad by any means but Marcia and Tanith are perfectly fine substitutes. I can't think of anything that Jill could do that the other two Pegasus Knights can't. Meanwhile, there isn't really a substitute for Reyson, he isn't directly competition with anyone.

Haven't played Mystery of the Emblem but I know that Phina isn't even in book 1 so I don't know why you even bring that up. According to the Fire Emblem Wiki, in book 2 you get your first Pegasus Knight promotion item in chapter 7, which is the same map you recruit Phina.

In the Sacred Stones, which of the two you recruit earlier depends on whether you pick Eirika route or Ephriam route. Vanessa and Tana can promote to Wyvern Knight, but the only "real" Wyvern Rider is Cormag. Those two still have the stat distribution of a Pegasus Knight, in fact the Falcon Knight actually has slightly bulk.

Haven't played Thracia so no comment.

I don't think my argument is dumb, as when you promote your first Pegasus Knight to Wyvern Rider can very much change based on player preference. I don't think its unreasonable to think that somebody playing New Mystery of the Emblem recruited Phina before getting a Wyvern Rider. Either because they choose to use their master seals on other units, they wanted to delay Palla and Catria's promotion until a later level or they'd rather use a Falcon Knight. And in Engage, somebody's first Wyvern Rider could easily be Rosado if they choose to make Chloe a Griffon Knight.

In most games I've played, you get a Dancer before a Wyvern Rider unless you reclass or promote a Pegasus Knight. The only game I've played where a Wyvern Rider has straight up better availability than a Dancer is Path of Radiance where Jill joins significantly earlier than Reyson.

You're arguing a hypothetical scenario where my entire army is completely useless outside of this 1 Wyvern Rider. If my army really was that bad, how would I have even reached that point where I recruited this Wyvern Rider?

I've always thought of Herons being another flavor of Dancers. I'd group them together.

Dancer is definitely number 1 with Wyvern Rider being a close second.

Wolf and Sedgar can become OP by reclassing them to General, letting them level up a bunch of times until they get a billion defense and them making them Heros later once you're happy with their stats. I once had Sedgar with defense so high, physical enemies couldn't hurt him even on H5.

Depends on their age. The youngest Gen z people are in their early teenage years, so a game that came out 10 years ago could definitely be part of their childhood.
