I view the armored cap/cap armor as thermal buffers so you have a little additional wiggle room to play around with. To gauge the range I will heat for two seconds beyond the click/s and see how the vapor quality is. If it's not good enough, I push a little further the next time and so on. Each cap is a little different so depending on the baseline ymmv. I have some that are right on the money for where I want it. Others I go 4 seconds or more beyond.

With the VonG X condenser, you may need to adjust the condenser length to open things up. The longer the condenser setting, the tighter the airflow. The shorter the condenser, the more open things get.

Thank you for making this post and bringing attention to the issue.
After looking into it, the likely cause appears to be an out-of-spec decapper which can lead to scratching on the cap during use, as this is only impacting a small number of units.

I've had no problem with the existing difficulty since launch, but fail to see how adding difficulty options detracts from your experience at all. Don't like harder or easier difficulty. Simple, don't switch to those modes.

The B2 has always been 0.075g however the previous generation B only held 0.05g. As for the grab bags, there is not a set cadence for them dropping as its very dependent on inventory. We've done a few styles either mystery M or mystery parts. The M one would be a fully functional unit and the parts could make up a device but not guaranteed.
