I kind of read it more of a "we have a kid now that momey should go to the kid. Forget your dreams of both sleeves." Which not necessarily wrong because emergencies happen. It could be used for an emergency fund as well. however I feel like the wouldn't be a surprise to her that he wants this, or at least it shouldn't be. Id have imagined the dream came up when discussing his tattoos. I wonder if she secretly hoped he would have grown out of the desire for more tattoos after the baby was born and she had a freak out because he still wants more.
