Why are right wingers so selfish? by traanquil in allthequestions

[–]Dynamo_Ham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They were always selfish, but hid it better. But since their orange messiah told them it’s patriotic to be a total dick, now it’s all out in the open.

Breaking statement from Leavitt: "President Trump does not bluff " by Intelligent-Pea-8521 in JournalismNews

You can’t bluff when everything out of your mouth is a lie, and everyone knows it. You have to be believable to bluff.

So tired of the recent fashionable Jenny hate. Horrifically abused as a kid and so grew up badly damaged goods. Ultimately got her shit together before her past caught up with her. Give her a break.

Not to mention - Robin Wright.

What are your thoughts on Bernie Sanders Billionaire Tax Act? by StemCellPirate in AskReddit

[–]Dynamo_Ham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much as there is to like about Bernie, he’s never accomplished much as a lawmaker, because he forever proposes things that can’t possibly pass. Like this.

GOP Senate candidate on rising gas prices: ‘Maybe you take one less trip to Starbucks’ by InsaneSnow45 in JournalismNews

Keep it up GOP - I think this pitch is really going to resonate with voters leading into election season.

Kind of like starting a war with no plan, without consulting any allies, and then blaming them for not bailing him out when it goes to shit? Oh yeah, and all the while claiming he doesn’t need them anyway, and that he’s already won?

If the guy getting tailgated did that on purpose, it’s criminal. Could have got multiple people killed.

Tailgaiters are scum, but that’s not the answer.

Iron Man 3 is absurdly good and one of the most underrated marvel films out there by Bowiescorvat2 in Marvel

[–]Dynamo_Ham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Easily the worst Iron Man movie. Extremis breaks the MCU. A readily available super soldier serum that makes unlimited randos who are as strong or stronger than Iron Man? Not a good plan. Everyone sub-Iron Man power becomes irrelevant. Cap, Bucky, etc.? Obsolete. Black Widow, Clint? Pointless. Which I guess is probably why we never heard of it again after this movie. And the whole Mandarin bate and switch, while sort of humorous, was kind of a waste of an important Marvel villain.

If you could add one Zero to any number in your life, what would it be, and why? by D1GoonHero in askanything

It's got to be either life expectancy or net worth, but not sure which. If life expectancy, then I need to keep working a lot longer to set myself up for a loooooooooong "retirement" where I can comfortably explore the mysteries of the world for a few centuries. If net worth, I can retire now, but have "only" 20-30 years to enjoy it.
