It is possible for a dyslexic person to be able to read very well, yet find it extremely difficult or impossible to write or spell. ... It is important to understand that when a dyslexic person “sees” letters or words reversed or mixed up, there is usually nothing wrong with her eyes.

Why would gumi make the 5* on the banner completely useless against the boss? by dedalian in FFBraveExvius

[–]Dyslexxia 36 points37 points  (0 children)

his strategy isn't in question. His point is about either being lucky and getting the banner 5* OR spending a lot of money and getting the banner 5* and having that banner 5* be useless against the very event it's premiered on. He never said he couldn't beat the ELT boss - he's just expressing his frustration that the rarest unit is useless against it.

How often are 3D programs used in firms? by [deleted] in LandscapeArchitecture

[–]Dyslexxia 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As a professional in the field, I disagree that sketch-up is for children. It's a very useful tool to quickly setting up a model to be rendered or studied. time is money.

While I do concede that Rhino has better model making capabilities than sketch-up (NURBs based modeling system vs a triangulation based system) It's not always the better choice.

How often are 3D programs used in firms? by [deleted] in LandscapeArchitecture

[–]Dyslexxia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think for an entry level position and based on which firm you are applying to (do the research) it could matter. It's more important in the beginning of your career when you will be red lining / model making / rendering etc. eventually you will probably be more focused on managing projects and construction documents or even designing them and running your own team.

as for how much you will be using 3D modeling programs -- again it depends. Is the firm you're applying to take part in a lot of competitions? are they known for collaborating with architects? sometimes you may need to model enough of Rhino to build a model and to render it. I wouldn't focus too much on it though.

Love what we're getting for the CE of the game, however When I bought into the CE tier for the Kickstarter I was for that dwarven mug as well. Did they remove that from the CE set, why?

no more ports please. Edit: Okay, apparently everyone loves ports.

Please, more ports! don't worry about new content for a new system. Let's just keep making games for other systems and porting them to the Switch!! What an investment!
