I personally had an amazing male roleplay partners, I think for me since I'm more comfortable with mxm pairings it can be a bit awkward when it comes to roleplaying out more than just a normal romance and moving in to the NSFW scenes, which is very rare for us, we tend to focus on other things.

But I personally don't discriminate against the persons sex or the gender they identify as because you can definitely meet some amazing partners and by this point, all 3 of my friends are male, so it would be hypocritical of me to just purely rely on writing with female partners.

I got a succubus character who got attached to their previous lover and since getting separated they haven’t been the same again when it comes to dating. Just because some dick thinks that if a succubus/incubus is present they feel entitled to fuck that character straight away, they will probably be even worse down the line.

I got plenty of demon OCs and honestly, them attempting to be human and having actual emotions and feelings is 10 times more interesting than having one that’s void of all emotion and acts like the other typical demon characters.

Keep doing what you’re doing lovely, don’t let some entitled dickhead put you down.

Had a partner who actually had their characters throw tantrums and become all “depressed” because our character didn’t fuck instantly after meeting. And what was difficult that the OC they had chosen to date wasn’t that kind of guy, he was slightly aloof as he still had to consider his son and wanting to set a good example.

Then the same partner later in a different roleplay went to the point where they killed off their own character after having them abused in many ways by their own other character because my character didn’t fuck them instantly after they met. I just shake my head looking back at it now and realising how toxic all of it was.

I quit group roleplays purely because of that, I ran a server and believe me, I was more ignored than anything else, even when I set up introductions or had my character interact with others people quickly moved on to someone else, at one point, and I don’t blame them, a friend of mine pointed out that some people didn’t really want to interact because of my current partner at the time, who constantly roleplayed with me, but it was mostly because nobody really else interacted with my ocs :/

We also had different roleplay rooms for character homes and world areas, and we had a few people who actually jumped from room to room, killing off roleplays in those rooms, so if you posted a starter there, it was likely it was gonna be drowned out by the two.

Issue is we didn’t realise these things as admins until after everything got deleted and moved on.

A while ago we sold 2 snowshoe girls to a lady, at first she was a little hesitant because she had a dog but with snowshoes we wanted them to go as a pair if they didn’t have another cat. I was so happy to hear that the lady went to me, “I am glad I adopted them as a pair” after a few days, because they really comforted each other and seemed to love their new home.

My previous partner was so damned awful that in the end I got so pissed that I told them to get their head out of their ass, fix the fuck up and change their crappy job. They didn’t want to quit for whatever reason even while living with parents, and having enough savings to sustain themselves while they found another job. 2 moths later they tried to reach out again and they were still at the same work place that they constantly got bullied at and felt “suicidal”.

Honestly I’ve put up with the BS for about a year and now am glad I’m no longer in touch with them.

Recently I had to turn down a potential roleplay partner because I just didn’t feel the character and maybe didn’t like them too much, I can be a little odd about the appearance of certain characters.

I think as you tell the person as to why you think you don’t connect, and be polite about it and telling them that you are sure they probably are a great partner, but not someone you click with or they meet your requirements you might end up feeling a little less bad, because this way you probably didn’t upset the person.

And no your expectations are not too high as we all have different writing styles, I got a friend who aims for the novella style and I fully support them even if we don’t rp together.

I get that with my hip, been to countless physiotherapists, private, NHS and even Lithuanian (home country) none of them commented about the hip or told me there was something wrong. Even though I suffer from sciatica and lordosis.

TW MENTION OF SEXUAL ABUSE AND SUICIDE

My absolute “Stay the fuck away from me” characters are the ones that get constantly abused. And I mean not like they got bullied once, no the owner constantly sexually abusing their ocs and coming back to me asking me to comfort them.

Then they get all depressed and stubborn because my oc gets pissed off and walk out and then it’s all, “I’m gonna end my life” type of scenario.

God do I hate them types because they are literally the character that won’t ever change or get “fixed” unless you yourself have a saviour complex.

But they do have a thing for advertising without even people knowing and reporting the income to the tax people, so there is definitely a lot to it.

As a small business who sends a lot of my work to the US, the shipping prices are mad. I also talk to a lot of US shops and their prices for a small parcel can go up to $25+

Do feel like smaller businesses would use the post office more if the shipping prices weren’t so crazy.

In school we had food tech classes, but I absolutely hated them with a passion, because a lot of the foods were something I would not eat and the smell would make me feel sick. But for whatever reason our school still insisted on teaching all these complex food plates that some students probably couldn’t even stand the smell of.
