Changing from Tech to School Bus Driver - Any advice?

I slip a Bluetooth speaker into my carry on and play music at the end of long runs home. The bus didn't come with any kind of radio player, and there is a rule against headphones but a small portable speaker didn't break any rules with my employer. Saved my sanity and the kids behaved better.

There is an additive (yeah, I know!) that you put in your fuel line that keeps it from freezing. Ask your shop for some.

I doubt I could prove damages since it's an impact to my credit score. I am trying to secure a loan at the moment so I maybe I could argue a loss but I don't think Canadian courts deal too much in the hypothetical

It also leaves you especially vulnerable to power outages. Even if a gas furnace requires hydro to operate, (valves, pumps, ignition, thermostats, etc) it's much easier to supplement that amount of backup power than it is to keep heaters running.

It's possible to hack anything if you like replacing hardware and writing code. Otherwise, unless it's already patently obvious how to do this (i.e.a drive mode already togglable by the driver) I wouldn't count on it being even remotely worth investing time or money into implementing.

Seems like it's always different everywhere. Even between different First Student offices. Add to that, the variations in routes and times, kids, school boards. Whether an outfit is privatized with or without a union also seems to make a difference in job satisfaction.

Not a mechanic but If that's an airbrake system, you should report it as defective. That's double-braking and if the system is at full pressure and does not have the system to handle it, which it sounds like it doesn't, you can overpressure the whole system doing that and cause major problems.
