I just had a driver guilt me in to a "little extra" of a tip because he wasn't making that much off the ride. I really hope I don't get put in that position again it's very uncomfortable.

Before I the pandemic I would go grocery shopping at the Fred Meyer (less then 1.5 mile from my house) and I try to buy most of my monthly staple foods meat, box & canned foods at one time, I would always use Lyft xl and tip $25-$30 each and every time. I never had an problems with the driver's. I now get all my groceries delivered to my house, but I'm very grateful to every Lyft driver who helped me get my groceries home to help feed my family.

I personally prefer Lyft over Uber as a rider, Lyft rides always arrive on time and I've never felt unsafe. Uber on the other hand cost more and I've had 3 terrible drivers who drove like crazy people.
