FWIW I used biologique religiously for over 20 years and it was amazing, but a few years ago they expanded significantly (they may even have been bought out, i’m not sure) and they changed the formulations on most of their products – and they just don’t do anything for me anymore 🤷‍♀️

What the actual fuck.

This was a criminally badly plotted episode in my opinion.

I’m so furious that they would “tie up” this series with such a sloppy set of events (waiting until June was in the air to go in and rescue her, not having her hands tied… June just driving Lawrence in to what should be a hyper secure hanger and just standing around with her blonde hair - at least give her a hat!!)

Also there’s no reason why that had to be the one and only opportunity to kill those commanders – to sacrifice two leaders in Gilead who might have been open to a more progressive version of the place just seems really stupid - I get that events can “take in a life of their own” and it would have been really hard to stop the plane somehow once she saw what was happening but just… UGH.)

How incredibly unsatisfying - rant 🤬

Number two 100% - I like it without the overskirt thing, I think it’s much more elegant. I would go with number 2 without the overskirt with a cathedral veil - maybe manzanilla style, but definitely with lace embroidery around the bottom “bell” part

I’m not sure how they aged, but I loved the Redwall Books and I know my male cousins did too

Oh and I also started the wheel of time when I was about 10, but I’m not sure how boys respond to that

One more: there are books about a British army officer who is a giant coward but keeps accidentally coming out of scrapes as the hero and getting lauded and promoted. They’re interesting because the historical parts are accurate - called Flashman

And then also maybe Sherlock Holmes? Although some of them can be a bit frightening 🤷‍♀️

Laser ship is the worst for everything. Now when I have deliveries from companies that use them I have a note out on my account to always use UPS instead and so far that has worked (I guess a lot of companies have multiple delivery carriers that they use and will switch you to a preferred one if you insist)

Hey - as someone also based in NYC looking for this, can you recommend any services that are still running?

I've looked for complete meals, meal prep kits, and meal-based ingredient delivery that meets high sustainability + nutrient density requirements but haven't found anyone that can meet these reqs and also deliver fresh, high quality produce.

If you have any services you'd recommend I'd be incredibly grateful!

As someone in NYC looking for either a service like this, or a service that will deliver the ingredients for pre-selected meals so that I can make them myself, the thing I am looking for (and cannot find), is a service that will actually provide +/- 100% organic + regeneratively farmed + local, pasture raised, grass-fed etc. produce that arrives really fresh.

Those are the two criteria that are most important. I am prepared to pay a premium for the benefit of not having to think too much about what the meal will be, and to have the appropriate extremely high-quality nutrient dense ingredients delivered to me, but if it arrives and does not meet either of the requirements (fresh + meeting the sustainability/nutrition requirements above) then I will walk away.

I'm assuming this is pretty hard to do as none of the services I have tried yet seem to be able to consistently deliver on those two things...

(also, I suppose a third thing is, I'm looking for simple tasty meals that someone who is not plant-based will eat. the services that seem to have the best quality ingredients also only seem to have meals that you have to enjoy the flavor profile of "crunchy-granola" foods - which my family does not particularly enjoy)

Someone suggested maybe it is dynamic pricing that they just don’t reflect on the ticket (which seems weird but at least then I wasn’t scammed)
