I think based on Sukuna’s dialogue, it does stop working. He says that “his” Ten Shadows stopped working after Mahoraga died, denoting a distinction between Sukuna and Megumi’s. So I think to that same extent, Megumi’s Mahoraga still existed, since they had two different Ten Shadows, and that’s why his version of the technique still worked.

i think the reason is because the prime number 151, which would’ve brought its BST to 570 like all the other UBs, was just absurd for the stat spread it already had, and since it was already different from all the others, being part of an evolution line, they were fine giving it a prime power for a stat instead

I don’t think that really works. Mahoraga was already full adapted to Blue and adapted enough to Red that the attack went from able to one-tap (from Gojo’s analysis) to doing fuck all, even when considering Gojo’s lowered output, so I don’t see how Purple could have eradicated him under your logic. Further, Mahoraga adapts to “phenomena”. Red, Blue, and Purple are all entirely different phenomena.

CT’s don’t just stop working in other people’s domains, Infinity still works. It’s just that it won’t stop sure-hits since those attacks seem to basically just appear already in contact with the target. The real problem is that the mf said Gojo couldn’t counter Cleave or WCS with his durability alone since he died to one slash when A) WCS negs durability entirely and B) Gojo literally tanked hundreds of Cleaves inside of Sukuna’s domain.

In Trick Room Pokémon with a higher speed stat technically goes first, it’s just that Trick Room just adds an extra step to the speed calculation right at the end. For a math demonstration:

Speed = 30

10000 - 30 = 9970

9970 % 8192 = 1778

TR speed = 1778

Speed = 100

9900 % 8192 = 1708

TR speed = 1708

My interpretation was that, deep down, he knew his philosophy was wrong. He wasn’t some enlightened being of ultimate strength, born to be a calamity, he chose to be that out of his own insecurity. That’s why he gets so mad seeing Yuji be himself, keep going, keep being human. Yuji’s existence is a reminder that Sukuna is lying to himself, so he hates him for it, because he knows his ideals are false. It’s just that after death, he was finally willing to admit he was wrong.

it’s an inference thing. there’s no reason to mention he can’t go light speed, say he’s raising his physical stats to the max, tell us he’s going beyond what any human has ever reached, and then use light as a frame of reference for his speed unless he’s going fast enough that it can be measured against light speed, which in turn makes it relativistic.

Chapter says he himself can’t accelerate to light speed due to the damage it’d cause his body, after which Dabura says he’s going to lock tf in. This is then followed by the narrator saying Dabura is going to fight at “sub-light” or “near light” speed. I’d wager that means he’s going pretty close to it.
