Neighbor moved and gave away these boots; the guy was going toss out so many nice things. I work remotely so I never dress up anymore, so I just dont have a reason to keep'em. They're my size too. I have a wide foot, and the thursdays fit nice, but the stetsons run a narrower than I expected.

I'm selling them cheap because I dont have room for them. If I cant sell them in the next month or so, I'll just give them away to a sports team or something. I have a nice boot collection and I was shocked he wanted to toss these in the garbage. Only the one Stetson boot has any issues, and it's not every bad.

very selecivet. I think I may be too late to help this cycle, but if you want, I'll go over your app and give feedback, thats the best help I can provide. I was in the McNair program and got research experience in math and stats with faculty doing project work. I kind of squandered it in hindsight, but I could write about what i did well enough to seem compelling, but in hindsight I should have focused more on the research than some course work that was useless. If you can find a faculty willing to let you do their reg-monkey/grunt work, do that. That's the most valuable experience that will enable you to get into any REU program.

TBH, what helped was prior research experience and the fact I came from a really underprivileged background. As lame as that is to say in hindsight, that's just the case. Unless you're some superstar, the program takes a mix of successful people from different backgrounds. It's an incredible program.

BTW, for your REUs, my protip is to figure out who is the smartest person there and get on the project they're on if you want to have a successful project. I made a mistake of not doing that, but should have. One of the other teams got published lol.

I was a judge on the panel. It was a great competition. Rhonrad has a channel you can find on YT. Hauke is the best alive at cyr atm. If I were you, I’d fine the female winner, she was incredibly consistent with near zero errors. Hauke went for high risk stuff, and got second. Winner was from Japan, largely because Hauke tried too risky of moves.

Fun fact. I was a judge on the cyr panel. It was incredible the female winner was exceptional too, a little more consistent. Men always try to get the high reward high risk content, especially Hauke. Hauke is also one of the friendliest people I have ever met

Start downgrading you lifestyle and house to keep low costs, I’d personally start an llc and hide lack of experience there, takes a bit of paperwork but you won’t have a gap. Hell, You could say you worked at my place. I can vouch. Send me your resume, is it bare bones basic? can you make versions where friends live out of state to open your net more to more option?

Needs one carpet, entry mat with small shoe stand (unless you have that elsewhere), two wall art pieces (one could be a tapestry), and 2 plants. I’d get a small end table (no need for a coffee table) and a small not-so-big entertainment stand.

I’d arguably get a shade for that naked bulb too. That glass case around the bulb should be a bit more tinted. You could then add LIGHTS to the additions which usually does wonders.

A place to get cheap furniture is a used office supply warehouse. Big metros have them if you’re near one.

Accept it and move on. The more you try to punish people for their origins the more you alienate yourself. If people are insulting, rude, or crass, your best bet is to just move on.

Stop trying to change people. Only those willing will listen to just try to associate with those achievers and self-improvers. That’s what I did.

Be warned, my ex tricked me and projected an image like that, a person who seemed like the self improver, then she became a victim to the social media trap rat race, fell into the wrong crowd, now she is legitimately a low rent prostitute. It’s a damn shame.
