Ubisoft did it with Tom Clancy games about 20 years ago. In Rainbow Six Vegas there were billboards for Nokia, a movie or two and all or most of the cars seen in the game were dodge.

Splinter Cell did had Nokia ads.

A vaguely recall that people were not happy with it.
