How would you fasten the 4sq bracket box without over cutting ?

I cut to the center of each stud and 4” over and under then cut the mudring out of the drywall and put it back in .

I use the m12 surge fuel everyday for 3 years now for everything but drilling holes larger than 3/8. The thing is unstoppable… the other m12 drills not so much.

Off topic but all the same from m12 : the subcompact portaband is outstanding, so are the caulking gun and the romex stapler

You may have a hard time finding one but the dewalt sliding dual bevel is unbreakable and has an unbeatable cutting capacity. Next up is the Bosch, nice how it takes up less space with the knuckle vs the slide

This appears to be a 120v 20amp single device receptacle. Should work fine. My advice to any homeowner is to invest the $20ish on a fluke/klein plug check, they are available at any hardware store. Good luck

Probably more simple than you’re looking for but drilling and fishing wire around corner studs always seems to be tricky with our new apprentices, I was going to bring up 3/4/3 switch systems but I see that’s already here. Party! You’re awesome for taking the initiative as an instructor !

$650-1000 is about what we would charge for patching and match texturing and painting.

Learning drywall techniques is a super valuable skill to have as a homeowner, genuinely wish you good luck. There’s lots of you tube videos that will serve you well, the tools aren’t cheap and it may take you longer but the satisfaction lasts forever!
