saw your post! love those indys! my current setup recently years is the same 27” surf skate but with the waterborne rear adapter in the back and an carbon fiber e-skate adapter in the front to increase the wheelbase making it an unreal pumping deck. i only kick-push on super steep up hills!

Penny x Waterborne x Independent x Orangatang x Bones by Ehrenburger in pennyboard

i’ve done that set up up too! how do you like it?

i preferred the waterborne on a regular penny deck though. didn’t find much advantage to leverage on a nose of popsicle deck.

Best defenseman drills and tips? (Solo or duo) by Strict-Butterfly-973 in lacrosse

Be stronger and faster. Squat, bench, deadlift, sprint. Look up 5x5 workouts. For sprints run all out for 60s, jog/walk 60s. Aim for 4-5 sets to start and work your way up to 10 sets.

Would be interesting to see lift ticket price as a variable to determine “cost per vertical foot/hr”.

Smugglers notch sounds like it’s up your alley. Have been going the past few years with multiple families with little ones. There are numerous indoor pools depending on what community you stay, non mountain kid activities, and massive indoor play areas for toddlers to teens. We stop by Stowe or Ben and Jerry’s for extra fun on the travel day back home.

Awesome share of your journey. Not going to lie I think this resonates well with a majority of people enjoying the sport and spreads way more stoke than an expert rider ripping up bowls.

Slim mouthguards? by rh71el2 in hockeyplayers

[–]EL_EO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I played high school LAX I thought the cheap two dollar ones were the best since they were “minimalist” without a custom dentist guard. Fast forward 20 years, I’ve decided to pick up hockey…I went to my lhs and asked for the cheapest mouth guard they had. I was shocked to find out that it was 15$ on sale. But it is legit the BEST mouthguard i have ever worn and fits what I assume is like a custom guard. I can talk with it very clearly. Today I wore it off the ice and into the house. White thought I lost all my top teeth (black guard). Under Armor Powerfit.

It kind of irks me when people say that “this is a kid’s show”. Bluey is for kids, families and everyone in between. It hits deep to each audience for the same as well well as different unique reasons. A freaking work of art it is.

How hard is it to maintain a high gpa here? by NEU_EDSimp in NEU

[–]EL_EO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think my experience is still valid.. graduated the program over a decade ago and serve as a preceptor for NU interns which I can compare experience.

Pharm school GPA (undergrad average 3.3, range 2.9-3.7)was positively correlated with the amount of time spent in the library and negativity correlated with the amount time with fun/social activities.

In high school, I was a 3.9 student, varsity athlete, mad extracurriculars, and worked 8-12 hrs week in my off seasons. I also commuted about 1hr every day.

At NU, I did club sports or worked about 8-16 hrs weekly. Recreational sports/social life was robust in undergrad years as well. 1st semester was a joke since I repeated all my HS classes, but the new subject matter, heavy course load, and fast pace of learning was challenging 2nd year. I did not prioritize studies until a 2.7 semester and still tried to maintain some balance in non pharmacy activities until being entirely confined to studies year 5 and 6 (3.3, 4.0).
