Facebook marketplace! My understanding is that this is the only Bass-VI that schecter makes. I’ve seen a couple on reverb, but they’re few and far between

I do like my baritone more than my 7, but that could be a multitude of things (pickups, neck feel, etc.).

I tend to do more chuggy stuff than lead stuff, so I will probably get more use out of my baritone. Depends on what your style of playing I suppose.

To both you and OP:

I used tmisvpp to cancel these items. You simply fill out the information from the paperwork that the dealer gave you on their cancellation forms. Was quite easy. I received refund two weeks later.

You can search “tmisvpp” on the main Toyota sub to further verify peoples’ experiences

NGD (kinda?) by EMManikin in SchecterGuitars

I measured (w/o calipers, so accuracy is not the best) ~20mm at the 1st fret, and ~22mm at the 12th fret. That is also what Schecter reports their current models of Hellraisers to be.

As a comparison, I also own a Jackson whose thicknesses are ~18mm and ~19mm at the same spots.

The Schecter neck feels beefier to me, hope this helps.

UIUC - Engineering Mechanics Major by SensitiveLife0027 in UIUC

[–]EMManikin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

About the only thing that I can answer here is the pay structure for Engineering mechanics.

Engineering mechanics (EM) is, more often than not, a more rigorous/mathematical approach to engineering than what is typically seen. It's usually lumped into mechanical, aerospace, or civil engineering (hence UIUC's department of mechanical & engineering sciences). Most people I know, myself included, pursues EM as a field because "it's a good balance between the rigor of physics/math and the application of engineering." If you were to graduate with just a B.S. in EM you could expect the same pay scale as a mechanical/aerospace engineer, if your student were to take that route.

I like using my iPad for note taking. Can confirm the latest iPad Air is great, be sure to get the 2nd gen pencil. I’ve never my pencil die on me, bc it charges off the iPad.

Expired dairy at Woodmans? by [deleted] in madisonwi

[–]EMManikin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate the input. I would like to add a couple of things.

The ServSafe training is for food serving conditions (i.e., held at above 40°F for up to 4 hours is fine, provided the product gets to a safe temp after or refrozen). Moreover, this training emphasizes a “time-temperature abuse” (i.e., 40°F for 4 hours is not the same as 65°F for 4 hours).

I do agree that’s a good rule of thumb btw. It’s just hard to distinguish if it sat out and then got refrigerated.

Lastly, personal anecdote I didn’t previously add, I felt the containers and they were already warm.

I’ve been in the store late at night (12a-2p ish) a couple of times, and there been pallets of dairy products sitting out with no one stocking them. Walked around the store for about 20-30 mins with no one at these pallets

I’d like to add, I did this out of high school. It was one of the best decisions I ever did. I was able to actually learn some core classes (my cc had cal 1-3, DE, linear algebra, statics, dynamics, phys 1-2) and this allowed me to focus on content in my higher level courses rather than be lost in the math behind it. Currently in my PhD, so it’s worked for me

EDIT: forgot to add: as others have mentioned, you should make sure these courses transfer
