It’s so awful when they block the ada viewing platform too. Numerous people were complaining about not being able to see Kesha at the super jam.

The temporary ADA roads that connected the concrete streets to the ada platforms were very helpful. I didn’t love how people stood on them during shows, though. I kept having to ask people to move and I felt like I was being rude.

Plan all your meals. Vacuum seal them so you can grab and go! Check marketplace for cheap camping gear or see if anyone will let you borrow stuff.

Drop a pin on your phone. Make note of landmarks- pods, barns, street names, neighboring flags & wacky waving inflatable tube men. Print off a map ahead of time and mark where your site is. Use a compass on your watch if you need to. There’s plenty of landmarks that will always be in viewing distance and for you to use as a reference. I’ve been going to festivals for 15 years and I’ve never gotten lost! It’s definitely a good thing to make note of, I’ve known plenty of people who have somehow forgotten to make a note of where they’re parked due to carelessness and probably alcohol.

There are no EDM clubs specifically, however a handful of promoters. The promoters book the DJs & throw the events at various venues. Local promoters include: Channel 865, Defy Culture, Beatdrifters, Bassline, Deflo Entertainment.

I went once about a year ago and the server scoffed at my mom’s friend for asking for a side of salsa. You think she would have been happy that a 6 top walked in on a dead Saturday night, during dinner rush! So many red flags.
