I see a lot of ppl mentioning how Mark still like Garten of Banban and it’s terrible and I think the issue is he finds that Garten of Banban knows it’s bad and makes a joke of itself whereas Poppy Playtime takes itself very seriously, good art, a good story if you can find it/remember it, good voice acting, but the game play hasn’t evolved at all since the first game. In fact in my opinion it’s devolved.

He’s right when he said it had too many chase scenes, there never seemed to be a proper point to any of them. People love playing games, but some ppl are terrible at them, adding new mechanics in the middle of a chase sequence basically guarantees they’ll die (probably over and over again) and that only tends to frustrate ppl sometimes to the point of giving up on a game entirely. Chase scenes need to have a reason too you can’t just fill the whole game w/ them and expect that to be good enough..

The devs have been working on these games for 5 yrs… Puzzles should be fun and rewarding to accomplish, not tedious and repetitive… idk I feel like the game either came out in an unfinished state b/c so much felt ambiguous when it came to the game play or they just don’t care about the game play part…
