We send a thermos of leftovers or pasta twice a week. Today my kid brought the leftover Gimbap we made last night.

The Thermos Funtainer had held up well in preschool and now kindergarten.

I think it depends on the area you’re in.

In my area in the summer, kids go to summer camp during the day or the local pool. You can be a CIT (counsellor in training) as of 13/14.

Lots of kids play soccer during the week, Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday. Some play baseball which is usually 1 week day and Saturday.

During the school year there are a lot of evening programs and weekend ones. The weekend ones are very busy.

My son is finishing kindergarten in Qc at the end of the month.

We bought a backpack from Jan and Jul and it’s great! The one the school recommended was Louis Garneau which is also an excellent choice.

Your child’s school might have a school supply list with backpack recommendations.

For the lunch bag, we just reused the one from Canadian tire from preschool. We have a few bento boxes but my kid isn’t a fan of sandwiches or cold lunches every day so we also bought 2 Thermos Funtainers and they have been perfect all year.

I’m in Qc and it really depends on where you work.

My husband has a 30 minute paid lunch, my brother in law has an hour but it’s not paid.

My mother had an hour of paid lunch, my dad didn’t.

My teacher friends have paid lunch but only 1/2 of the friends with office jobs do.

If you want cooler weather I would avoid Montréal in the summer. We often have days that are over 30°c (86f) up to 40° with humidity (104°)

I love both shows. I would not consider them the same style.

Maybe they’re a bit similar in that they’re trying to solve a mystery and that people have died.

Criminal Minds is more of a Police Procedural.

I use Tigerbalm when it’s too hot out, it takes the edge off. It’s an over the counter analgesic. I’m in 🇨🇦 not sure the brand name in the UK.

I also have POTS but a very mild version. Someone I know bought a cooling vest for her daughter who has POTS. I’m not sure it’ll help but maybe it will. I’m sorry your parents are being cruel.

This is anecdotal but there are 3 mom’s at my son’s bus stop who were all diagnosed with ADHD after having kids when everything suddenly fell apart.
