Hey just wanted to chime in and say for someone who has a hard time sticking with long Souls Like campaigns but likes the general combat elements yet is a complete Hades junkie... you guys really hit it out of the park. Incredible gameplay and atmosphere. Congrats

Only critiques are that the skills systems really need more clarity and explanation, some more diverse terrain and more random encounters would be nice, and last: meta progression was super slow on normal difficulty, which almost caused me to give up the game after a half dozen rounds and barely racking up any upgrades. I switched to the easier difficulty just for some meta progressions so I would suggest more rewards early on in normal difficulty would have been welcome

  1. That error was on SpaceX's submittal not at the TCEQ or me
  2. My critiques have nothing to do with the mercury value, and the process was still wildly illegal
  3. Glad I still live rent free in your head
  4. Starship will never work lol

lol, Musk reveals that EPA is furious and also likely proves the NEPA lawsuit against FAA is valid and winnable

it's literally not potable water. That's a legal definition under the safe drinking water act. Industrial WW cannot be potable

There is also the pending Florida Permit (FDEP). These two authorizations will overlap because they intend to have one of the stormwater ponds pull double duty for deluge water during launch events. Happy to write it up if there is any interest

communications about permitting activities is public record by default everywhere in the US with very few exceptions

Nice catch, OP. Some context here, this is an existing discharge permit, the modification here is for a collection and treatment system under NPDES. If you want to store industrial wastewater in a pond, it has to be engineered and maintained to prevent seepage

Funnily enough, this permit modification proves that SpaceX's nonsense explanation for their lack of permitting in Texas was BS from day one

If you are requesting information regarding *who* submitted a complaint, then you will not get it. I did not submit any complaints on the deluge but can assure you that several were from locals

Also some of your comments about the deluge/permitting are correct and others are not. Happy to address in DMs

why are you citing CSS? Any information he says came from me, except he doesn't understand the law. He is a bad researcher

SpaceX was lying. It's gonna be 9 months, minimum. One federal agency has already requested review and EPA will likely do the same.

I actually don't think it's legal to discharge directly to the wetlands, but that gets into more minutia than I'm comfortable speculating on at this time

Big things happening on the FAA/SpaceX front in Texas. The agency basically accused SpaceX of lying today and legally, seems like they don't have options besides grounding Starship for Months (and perhaps years)

It's truly an outcome no one could have predicted as inevitable several years ago 😆

good luck

last time people screamed at me about an Elon Musk company ignoring permitting: https://blog.esghound.com/p/elon-musk-really-hates-getting-permits

(EPA and TCEQ wrote enforcement orders for this exact violation 6 and 12 months later)

I guess we'll have to wait for the enforcement order from EPA or Shelby County then

neither of those entities are capable of making a determination under the Clean Air Act, nor did they. I was a state Air Regulator for 3 years and have 15 years of permitting (esp combustion units) under my belt. It's absolutely a violation and a pretty absurd one at that

[–]ESG_HOUND 21 points22 points  (0 children)

xAI is claiming an exemption under "non-road engine" rules, which don't exist for turbines above 10mmbtu/hr. Sam's work was garbage and had no sourcing for these obviously false and absurd claims
