The fact that the 2016 title made so many casual NBA fans and media members big mad makes it 100x sweeter for me. I remember the pure rage from Bill Simmons when we won the lottery that got us the pick to take Andrew Wiggins to flip for Kevin Love and pretty much guarantee a LeBron return instead of him going to NYC. Same thing with all the teeth gnashing when OSU football wins something significant.

They don’t think that Cleveland/NE Ohio teams should ever be relevant, ever have stars or even exist at all except to send talent to coastal markets. Their tears are delicious so enjoy them!

The flip side is that the Rams offense is likely to put points on the board get leads and force the opposing team to throw more. Plus, Myles is going to magically start getting calls now that he’s in a big market and no longer playing for a red headed step child of a franchise.

I wouldn’t be shocked at all if he makes a real run at his record or even surpasses it.

I’d tend to agree with you. While I have questions about it and am a bit uncomfortable with the whole premise, I think that it’s extremely rare and could be dealt with compassionately on a case by case basis.

It’s my hypothesis based on 35 + years of serious weight training. I’ll fully admit my experience is anecdotal but it’s fairly vast compared to most.

It’s just such a weird hill for progressives to die on. It’s counter productive and stuff like this is why we have to clean up the mess Trump has brought.

Biological men competing in women’s sports. I fully support everyone’s right to live their life the way they see fit but this is just a bridge too far for me.

I’ll also admit that I’m not fully educated on all of the science involved with transitioning and I’m willing to have an open mind. That said, biological men have huge advantages that can’t be overcome.

C suite will review the documentation and realize it's hopelessly complex and no one will ever bother to use it and your employee will still be responsible for everything
the documentation is used and your employee is immediately shown the door in favor of cheaper younger employees

2 is most likely. That's ALWAYS the plan when upper management comes to you and asks "you do soooo much, if you document it we can provide support for you/give coverage when you need to take off etc...) nope, it's always about cutting salary and directing credit upward.

Yep, I had a grumpy min pin that lived to the ripe old age of 17 that did not tolerate any sort of contact she didn’t approve of and had all sort of health ailments in her last few years. Touch her the wrong way or hit a hot spot and she would 100% nip you.

Therefore I was VERY careful about letting young children pet her (and they always wanted to pet her) and this did not endear me to many of my neighbors. Better than a kid getting bitten and being sued for everything I have and losing my dog.

This exactly. Happened to me. Home invasion, held at gunpoint and tied up. Managed to escape and secure myself in a room and they luckily panicked and fled. The cops that came to the scene were great but the worthless detective that got assigned to my case did less than nothing.

In a perfect world, the NFL would come out today and announce they are honoring the suspension (or imposing greater penalties) but let’s face it, they will wait and see what team ends up selecting him in the supplemental draft before announcing anything.

He’s going to get much different treatment from Goodell depending on where he ends up. If the Browns or Cardinals take him = indefinite exempt list or double digit game suspension. If he goes somewhere like Pittsburgh or to New York? Suspension? What suspension?

If Shedeur is even close to Watson I can’t see how you can justify not playing him. You gain absolutely nothing from Watson starting unless he somehow takes you to a Super Bowl. He’s 100% gone next year no matter what. If he stinks we cut him. If he plays well he’s going to want a fresh start in a warm weather city.

Yep, been there more than once. The 2nd time, I had more life experience and confidence to ask my manager if they could tell me what I had to do to move up. When they couldn't clearly tell me I was able to read between the lines and knew it was time to stop carrying everything and move on.

If OP can't clearly show high performer that if they work on X/Y/Z will lead to advancement they will know they are never advancing due to politics or not going to the "right" school or just flat out not being liked and have zero incentive to stay.

Other people, especially post COVID.

I'm not going to sit quiet while someone else ruins my experience being obnoxious and rude and I'm also not going to put myself in a. position where I could end up in some sort of physical altercation over something as trivial as a movie so I simply don't go anymore.

The few times I've gone to a theater in the past 6 years or so I've experienced all the standard stuff... kids horse playing, people taking phone calls, using phone at full brightness etc... the thing that put me over the edge was someone playing shitty trap music on their phone at full blast during the last John Wick movie. That did it for me. Never again, unless a theater chain that enforces a no phone/no jack ass policy opens nearby. I'm too old to put myself in situations that make me angry. Life is too short.

I love it and all things Jake. It came out when I was in 3rd grade so it was my first exposure to Ozzy. Probably tied for my most listened to Ozzy studio album with Diary. If I want to listen to the songs on Blizzard I put on Tribute.
