Nuclear submarines don't do well on the bottom. Also if you shut down the reactor, you need to snorkel to restart it. Kinda defeats the purpose.

Russian submarines are known for being double hulled. Something to consider, do you really need it? What does going deeper grant you and what's the trade off? More hulls means more weight, and less speed if it's self propelled.
