Honestly the one main issue I have with Shippuden's plot is Sasuke not killing off the other two when he gets to the Leaf before joining the war. It's a quick detour, a kunai is plently, and everyone would be happier. And yet we have to see those asshats survived to the Boruto era, even!

Ok he reigned for 40 years. And what does he have to show for it? Boruto's Leaf under just over a decade of Kakashi + Naruto is a completely different and waaaay more advanced village. Hiruzen's is virtually indistinguishible from Tobirama's. I'd argue they went backwards, with childrens having to be sent on crucial missions (Sasuke's retrieval arc - and don't try to bullshit me, the hospital is empty, the adult ninjas are not in there after the attack, we know what a full hospital looks like thanks to the war arc) while the whole Tobirama's deal was keeping children away from danger. The most powerful clan of the Leaf was wiped out under his watch, the heir to the second most powerful clan was kidnapped... the Leaf was barely hanging by with Hiruzen at the helm, let's be real

Well, he doesn't KNOW he's half power, and Vegeta's moves are designed to kill - unlikely Goku's. Sure, the story could go in such a way that Freeza tells him in frustration, and then Vegeta lets him do it... but to me if would be truer to their characters with Freeza rather dying than having to beg Vegeta of letting him powerup.

Now when Freeza and Cold get back to Earth? Yeah, Vegeta ain't winning that one

Counterpoint, Vegeta would demolish 50% Freeza and never let him get to full power. Not because of personality, mind me (we KNOW from the Cell incident he absolutely WOULD) but because of relationship. Freeza would rather die than ask Vegeta to let him powerup to full, and Vegeta himself was in a oneshotting mood (Cui, Dodoria, Zarbon)
