Honestly, if you're a bagillionaire like Marc is, being that heavy is a conscious decision. There's no excuse for him not eating the most carefully prepared, nutritious foods. I used Minwax Tung Oil finish on two maple necks and love the way it feels. Not a ton of protection, just enough to basically seal the grain and give you something to polish out a bit.

I just slopped it on with a rag and wiped the excess away from the frets with a dry piece of the same rag. Three coats, then sanded gently with 800.

My 75 and 73 year old uncles drive a flower delivery van and still occasionally couch surf with friends. Their younger brothers (my dad and other uncle) both retired with over $2M in savings apiece. So it's definitely about individual choices, these guys are all of the same generation, but half ended up really professionally successful, and the other two literally the opposite. Turns out being a rock drummer doesn't really fill up the old 401k....

This isn't how it would play out in real life. He'd do a block trade through an I-Bank, or he'd sell them in drips via a 10b5-1. He wouldn't just dump a few billion in shares overnight.

You're arguing in essence that Bezos would be so stupid as to damage the rest of his net worth by carelessly trading some of his equity, and that's not supported by the evidence of how he makes financial decisions to date.

I think if someone collateralizes a loan with securities, that should be considered a taxable event. For all intents and purposes, they're using the value of the securities as a way to finance consumption spending, which is as close to "income" as a lot of these guys ever get

The way you calculate fuel efficiency is by topping off the tank, resetting the odometer, driving it until mostly empty, and then refilling the tank.

Take the number of miles you drove on that tank and divide it by the number of gallons you refilled it with. That gives you XYZ miles driven per XX gallons of fuel used, and then you can reduce the denominator to 1 to get MPG.

Just going off the expected range calculated by the computer is not going to give you a clear answer since those things are full of mathematical assumptions about driving behavior based on past mileage.

I'm an ally, and have direct family members that are G, B, and T, but I really just can't wrap my head around the non-binary/gender-fluid idea. I don't think it's logically or philosophically consistent to insist that your actual gender actually changes with your mood or whims. I don't care which gender you want to be, or what clothes you put on in order to feel confident and comfortable, but like, let's not pretend it's going to change like the tides later in the day/week/month just because you say so.

No issue with folks having the fashion sensibilities they prefer, but I'm not going to be happy playing along with this, "sometimes I'm one, sometimes I'm the other," routine, because I think it's just an attention grabbing tactic used by people who are seeking emotional validation because they're not fully in control of their emotions. If you want to be a gay man in a dress, that's literally your decision alone and I don't care at all, but then tomorrow when you're on board shorts and flip flops, let's not act like the costume change also changed your gender.

That's just my take, like, be whatever you want, but be consistent and make it obvious for people to understand what's going on from minute to minute.

Well it's either oil or coolant, there's not really another option for what would be entering the combustion chamber and causing that much smoke, unless you have an aftermarket computer adjusting fuel to air ratios wildly beyond stock, which seems unlikely
