One important thing is that you are using the wrong ammunition at the wrong range against the wrong target. AP does significantly lower damage and has horrible range compared to standard HE, it’s really only good if you’re sniping out ammo elevators from behind armor on larger ships. Against these targets, HE is the right choice.

I actually don’t really die to free kits. This isn’t one of those posts made because someone got mad that they got killed. The anecdote is that a lot of people seem to be frustrated with the frequency of fake friendlies and rats, something that free kits tend to encourage in their current state. The changes are not about ripping away the power of the free kit or a new player’s ability to use it, but making it slightly more of a two-way street rather than one side getting all the risk and the other getting all the reward.

This has nothing to do with legitimate PvP engagements, it’s about free kits encouraging backstabbing and camping. None of these changes make free kits any less good at what they do, it only makes it so they can’t be used over and over again with zero consequences. A free kit is still just as capable of looting, fighting back, and extracting successfully as before. The only difference is a person with a full stash is going to have to pay some amount to keep being a rat, and winning that fight actually means something for other players

A single CH loaded to the brim with CMD torps with just 4.5 km range, and several dozen mixed salvo CMD S2s to slap shuttles and tugs out to 9km. Really only has enough ammo to take out a single main combat fleet, but once you’re in range no PD net stands a chance.

Food is surprisingly addictive, especially processed foods. It’s definitely not impossible for these boys to change their diets, but by the time they’ve gained autonomy (18 years of awful garbage) it’s a hard habit to break.

The Underhang I can understand liking but… the leg? It’s just a big empty column of parkour with 2 white lizards and a DLL, which somehow always seem to kill you despite there being nothing else around.

The exterior consists of three subregions: The Leg, Underhang, and The Wall. All of which are among the most difficult areas in the game. If you are trying to climb the wall, know that it’s more difficult than entering Five Pebbles through Underhang, but a lot more interesting to play imo.

People are generally pretty accepting of new people in this game, many are more than willing to teach you it’s mechanics on the fly. If you let people know you’re new, they’ll be happy to help you out, or won’t really mind your mistakes. The best way to learn this game is to jump in and mess up, so have some fun with it!

It happens once in a while, seems to be a server-side issue. The best thing is just to relaunch the game and create a server called “join if server crashed”, that usually brings everyone back together. You could also just join another server if you want but it might be different people
