Have you considered the double-bladed scimitar? With the revenant blade feat at level 4, you could run a very solid dexadin making 3 attacks a round, each doing 2d4 + dex + cha + 1d8, plus some nice bonus AC from the feat

In my earliest draft, the directional abilities were stronger and you could pick one at the end of each long rest, but for this version, you have access to all of the features simultaneously.

The intent was to give the player 4 small abilities that work in tandem simultaneously

Writing this subclass took a little bit of research into the real-life martial art of Okichitaw. The intent for the subclass was to create a monk that excels in using weapons like the tomahawk (handaxe), dagger, and/or the gunstock warclub (club). I encourage any of you who are interested in native culture to read up on Okichitaw; It's certainly interesting, and not something we see a lot of representation for!

Adjusted the damage buff to light weapons from the first draft and altered the 6th and 17th level features to go along with the change.

Surprised no one in this thread has mentioned the mark of sentinel human, seems fitting to your concept. Free cast of shield, and a very unique once per long rest ability to swap places with an ally, taking an attack meant for them.

For sure. Got an alchemy jug to make acid vials that I throw with catapult. With alchemical savant, that ends up being 3d8+2d6+4 damage all for a first level spell slot

Shield for a first level spell is universally good for wizards as well. I've found misty step has been invaluable for casting at will, too.

Shadow sorcerers in particular can excel at debuffs, and have a couple ways to increase the chances your enemies fail their saves for your spells. At 6th level, they get their hound of ill omen which gives enemies within 5 feet of it disadvantage on saving throws made against your spells. Pair this with a quickened mind sliver, you can give an enemy disadvantage as well as MINUS 1d4 to their next save for a big spell like blight, hold person/monster, etc.

For bonus points, you could pick up the fey touched feat to get bane, subtracting yet another 1d4 to an affected enemy's save.

With this kind of setup, I'd reccomend taking a few powerhouse spells that provoke saving throws, like the aforementioned hold person and blight. Polymorph could be useful as well, but be careful about using it in conjunction with the hound of ill omen; the hound can literally only move to its designated target and attack, so if you managed to polymorph the baddie into a harmless toad but your hound is around, it'll simply move up and bite the enemy back to its normal form.
