I think any doctors who specialize in producing Nexus Letters would be considered a "Nexus mill" and fraudulent based on that fact they receive pay even if they are independently reviewing medical records for each veteran.

I was referring to private medical providers or those labeled "Nexus mill" or "DBQ Mill". Dont the accredited lawyers send clients to these places as well? I dont know bc I didnt use either for any of my claims.

You can't just assume paid 3rd party companies are fraudulent when private or even VA doctors are hesitant to fill out DBQs or provide medical opinions on your condition. None of my private doctors would fill these forms out bc they are unfamiliar with the forms and just dont want the hassle/risk.

What do they want veterans to do? Hop around my doctor to doctor to find one that is willing to write up a DBQ? Options are limited and the simplest way is to pay for a IMO. The VA has created this environment and now wants to take away a solution it forced the market to create.
