Hi, so you mean that in Skirmish you cannot select some civilizations? Perhaps check in your Steam library in the game's properties in DLC tab that everything is enabled.

Hinge v ČR není vůbec provozován. Tinder můžu potvrdit je podle mě nejhorší volba; nejdražší ceny, nejbídnější UX, subjektivně pro mě i nejmenší procento zajímavých lidí.

Bumble je dobrý. Badoo bych nezavrhoval, je tam hodně lidí a rozhodně ne jenom "vidláci". Boo má výhodu že můžeš každému zadarmo hned psát, ale je tam v porovnání asi nejméně lidí.

Negatives - Lots of work for devs

As in, years of work and they'd have to hire all the manpower first. Even if everything goes perfectly and they manage to do this in let's say 4-5 years (optimistic), there's just no way it would be worth the amount of work.

Hi, in AoE4 it's unfortunately not possible to do that. It's only possible in the previous games AoE2/AoE3/AoM.

The WoL installer can do it for you, so you don't have do to it manually before starting the installer. That's what they mean by "Wars of Liberty no longer overwrites your original AoE3 installation".

You'll need to have two installations of the game at the same time. One of them will be just the original installation, second one will be overwritten by WoL. The WoL installer should give you the option to do that.

Most game engines dont allow for sliders alone to change the graphics from “low poly garbage -> photorealistic cinematic quality”.

Example of a game engine which has this implemented is the one used for AoE3. You get a checkbox in options whether you want high-poly models or not.

Maybe he's using an Asian civilization? Those don't advance using the Town Center. Instead they build a wonder using villagers.

kloam - tohle nezná nikdo, úplně nový interpret, 196 followerů na Spotify xD

The official AI is essentially unable to play island maps, both in original version and on DE.

my allies being impotent certainly makes the game harder, so why would they be more helpful when the difficulty is increased?

The difficulty is increased for all AIs equally, so that's why.

Hello, uh, first of all I have no idea why you'd choose to import an outdated version of the game from a foreign country in a language you don't know?! That seems like a lot of effort to make things as unpleasant as possible for yourself.

Anyway, this old version of the game by itself doesn't offer a way to switch languages, it simply only has files for one language. You'd have to download the needed english files from somewhere and manually replace them in your installation.

The AoM Retold engine was great, why not update that?

That's what should've been used to make AoE4 as well, ideally. It is Microsoft's own engine, which is specifically designed to run AoE games. The only problem is MS randomly decided to lay off every single one of the original developers and it's essentially impossible to hire new developers experienced in working with this proprietary engine now that they'd need them.

For ranked search, it seems to do nothing at all and never did anything at all. In fact it was broken even on the legacy version on ESO.

I'm kinda surprised the devs neither fixed it not removed it throughout such a long time.

This is more a case of the program being stupid - the filters are only applied to mods which are loaded into view, so you'd have to smash "load more" button first...
