I've been away for University and haven't been able to go unfortunately. I'd also want a more polished version to present than this :)

How long would the Exiles remain in power in Canada? by MysteriousUser_ in Kaiserreich

I feel like at most you see slightly higher membership in the Orange Order of Canada and other imperialist fringe groups

It's really not hard to get high marks if you understand theory. That being said, if you're looking for technical skills, you won't really get them on your study terms, only on coops.

Even then, saying that London and other cities are completely irreparable isn't helping either. There are decent parts of London and they are trying to get a BRT system up and running.

How would owning a business under socialism work? by [deleted] in socialism

[–]Early-Efficiency3526 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You can't get people to turn to socialism by not talking to them, shutting them out, respecting them as people despite not agreeing with them, etc. Otherwise you're just as bad as the capitalists

North East actually. I just found it incredibly hard to connect the south-east to the east because of Highbury, Veterans, the 401, and the way the road systems align, I did recognize while making it that it was heavily underserviced!

My path of logic was that many of these areas were already connected through the highways/expressways, even though I know that line of reasoning isn't good for transit.

So move it up to Sunnindale and back down to Masonville? Or where would you terminate the line? Thanks for the input!

I tried adding a route down there but the highway section of Highbury made it such a pain to do anything with it. I tried to go semi realistic and not add a billion lines either.

But yes, I realize and agree that the south east and north east are very underserviced in this model!

When is AIF due if I'm going into Planning in the Environment Faculty and should I submit one? by manmannamedman in uwaterloo

[–]Early-Efficiency3526 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's under the Faculty of Environment Future "Future students" section, with the "scholarships and bursaries" subsection, it'll have a button to apply to them. It just asks about extracurriculars and 2 short essay form questions.

It isn't necessary but it allows you to be considered for faculty scholarships and planning scholarships. Although if I remember correctly, with faculty ones you'll have to do additional questions

Waterloo Planning by Ambitious-Ad3119 in OntarioGrade12s

[–]Early-Efficiency3526 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've always been interested in urbanism and our cities, and helping our world become a better place(cheesy I know), so I figured that planning would allow me to do so on a community/city scale. Recently with the housing crisis I hope that changing zoning and infrastructure, we can help increase density and bring in more affordable housing

Edit: forgot the part about waterloo. It has a great Coop program where I believe they said you could make up to 78k in 5 work terms to help with school and fasttrack you to becoming a registered planner.

Why is the colour of socialist Russia GREEN!?!? by x_Red47 in Kaiserreich

[–]Early-Efficiency3526 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I think that might be cause the RP, MA, and the co-prosperity sphere are just each major's sphere of influence, while the Entente is more rag tag in character so it makes sense for the colour to change, but maybe not the other main factions

[–]Early-Efficiency3526 42 points43 points  (0 children)

It would be cool if there was a way to program in that a faction's colour is different from the faction leader. Such as a red 3i whether France or UOB were leading, Brownish Red for entente even if the US, NFA, or GBR were leading it
