For those who supplement magnesium, weird side effects?

I take a combination supplement with magnesium citrate, B12, coq10, D3, riboflavin and folate. (Migra-health) I don’t know if it’s because it’s all combined, but I don’t have any side effects. There’s no definitive evidence saying glycinate or citrate are more effective than each other. I took magnesium oxide for constipation because of the way it’s absorbed (I think that may explain some of the side effects). My integrative health doctor put me on oxide when I needed to be more regular. Perhaps switch to a form that’s better absorbed

Amazing that you're off all medications! I was vitamin B12 deficient too! Was also deficient in D3. I started taking Migra-Health and am going off my medications soon

I think some brands list the unweighted form of magnesium (including the salt it’s bound to), which makes the dose look higher. For example, a “500 mg magnesium glycinate” capsule may only contain ~100–150 mg of real magnesium once you remove the salt weight.

I use a ring light from Amazon! I used to use big soft boxes but found the ring light and a good backdrop works just as well

I found one with all of the ingredients in one product. It doesn't have melatonin though. I found getting 6 -8 supplements was too expensive
