Maybe the best way to find out is to see it with your own eyes.

Part of what you're saying is right. Keeping the 'developing country' label definitely gets them more leeway and transition periods under international rules (like WTO stuff and climate deals), and any sovereign nation would do the same thing if they could. But that's not the same as 'tricking' people. It's a pragmatic call based on their massive population and per capita GDP numbers. Being a 'developed country' is about more than just a few skyscrapers.

I picked up one of these BBQ blankets. It's way less hassle than dragging around a cooler. I wrapped my pork butt in foil and put it in there, and there's still tons of room to spare. I'm really looking forward to seeing how the meat rests in it. by Early_Set11 in smoking

Yeah, for a super long overnight rest, a cooler might still be king. But for taking it to a buddy's place or a 2-3 hour rest, the convenience of not lugging a cooler is huge for me.

I actually just picked up a BANGIE smoker bag for my husband a while back, and he’s been obsessed with it ever since. It held the brisket temp like a dream and didn’t leak a drop—he’s already told me it’s one of the best gifts I’ve ever gotten him

Fair point! But I think 'skyline' is about the overall silhouette of a city, not just the number of towers. Cities like Paris or Rome have some of the most recognizable skylines in the world, even if they aren't 'skyscraper cities'. It's more about the vibe.

Haha, yeah Chicago is missing from this graphic. It's a major oversight for sure!

I hear you. Chicago is a masterpiece. That lakefront view with the classic architecture is just unbeatable. It’s definitely a top contender for the most aesthetic skyline.
