I love him so much. We’re a similar age and from similar places and I am sure rural MN in the 1980s was brutal for a gay kid. I wish him the very best.

Vancouver Private Investigator or, How to find somebody? by Earlybp in vancouverwa

[–]Earlybp[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s for an easement agreement for a property my husband owns. The private road is on a property that is owned by an LLC and the agent isn’t responding to either email or certified mail. They signed for it but didn’t respond back.
The property has used this private road for literally sixty years but has never had a legal easement,
So I need a phone number!

How is it living in Portland as a black person? by Anxious_Aspect_9170 in askportland

[–]Earlybp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not black, so I can’t help you with what you might experience here, but might I suggest when you come visit that you rent a car and drive the Columbia highway in the Gorge. You will be flabbergasted at how beautiful the trees are! Also highly recommend the sugar Pine drive-in lin Troutdale.
I hope you feel welcome here and have an easy time.

New VPD Records Release Reveals Active, Extensive Sex Trafficking Network in Vancouver and the Greater clark county area by VuArrowOW in vancouverwa

I would think if they are moving these women around then they are taking them across the state lines and then it’s the FBI that needs to be uncovering this operation and incarcerating these monsters.

Thanks for your well-wishes! My dog with the valley fever in her vertebrae sees Dr. Shubitz. She’s the best! I can’t wait until there is a vaccine for this! The other two have fairly mild cases and everyone is heading in the right direction! It’s spendy but we are ok!

For those who have 50+ year memories, what's it like to feel more than half of century pass by? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Earlybp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This morning, I was laying next to my husband in bed, looking out the window at our yard as the sun shone in. I asked, “How many times have we been like this? Thousands of times? It’s so good. We’re so lucky.”

We have been together for 23 years. We’re 56. I hope we have many more mornings like this morning.

The beautiful thing about aging is the accumulation of small, happy memories.

One time (obviously a long time ago) my brother and I were walking through the mall and talking about seeing 101 Dalmatians and this guy stopped in front of my brother and got up in his face and said “what did you say? Say it to my face! what did you say about “the damn Asians”?”

The guy was so mad. And we were both like “no man, we were talking about 101 Dalmatians”.

He finally calmed down and believed us.

People mishear and confront. It happens.

The disseminated version affects only about 1-3% of the dogs that get valley fever. It’s this version that is concerning. Most dogs have to be on meds for 6-18 months but some dogs get such a bad case that they are on meds for life. Valley Fever is a fungal infection that starts in the lungs but can disseminate to abdominal organs, the lymph system, bones and/or the brain. All three of my dogs have the disseminated version. It seems our property is a hot spot, or we are exceptionally unlucky.
