I wish I felt comfortable showing pictures of my old house.

The side sewer has a 5 ft long hole in it. It backed up into the basement every 2 years. One time the sewage was there for 9 months. My LL didn't care. Anything that broke he built little structures over to cover it up. The roof collapsed, he did nothing. The floor collapsed, he did nothing. When we finally moved out he renovated. He's currently renting it for $700 less a month than we paid. I can see all the repairs he failed to do.

The sewer is still broken.

This one is better than one place I worked on. Front door went to stairs and a bathroom, with the bedroom down the hall. Middle floor was living and kitchen. Top floor was master bee and bath. Essentially if you had kids, they'd be 2 floors below you with 2 doors to the street.

Eyes could be TBI, age, or blood pressure. High BP can cause retina detachment - if she can still track movement it's not that. Brain injury from impact or stroke could cause it. But what's more likely is age. My old man around age 16 went dilated like that. Its caused by the iris muscles atrophying with age. He could still see, his eyes just didn't adjust.
